Gugulethu Mbatha (better called Gugu-Mbatha-Raw) is an British actress and film actor that became popular when she was a part of a series of 'Doctor Who, the British science-fiction TV series airing on the BBC. Gugu gained a great deal of notoriety for her performance as Tish Jones, who was the younger sister of a prominent character named Martha Jones, in the series. The biggest break for Handler came in the year 2006, after she started hosting her own show on E! It was titled The Chelsea Show. The Chelsea Show ran for two seasons. Handler later performed in the US in the Comedy Central Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour. The stand-up shows she has performed have been shown on VH1, Comedy Central's Premium Blend, and HBO. In 2010 it was announced that she was to host this year's MTV Video Music Awards. With this, she became the second woman in history to host the VMA's following Roseanne Barr.
